The church has used fear in a very subtle fashion against very young individuals for a very long time.
It is not at all subtle in the way that it gets its message across to those who already believe, though!
Without this implanted fear the child would have no motivating reason to believe in believing.
The misinformed adult would have no reason to keep on believing...keep on keeping on?
According to the church literature and scripture..those who do not believe will go to hell...even if they lived a good and honest life.
The god of the old testament rears his scary head and says, you cannot understand my actions with the human mind.
This is another threat to the righteous and the believers'...a big time threat that theirs is really an angry god.
It is very obvious that it is not god that is important to the church, anyway, but what you believe!
The church ,in all of its power, would never want you to think that it could control god, its own creation!
But they can control you with fear and get you to give them your hard earned wealth.
It is incredibly easy to create fear in humans, and especially in little children.
And the fear goes on!
That instilled fear of “Fire and Brimstone, of going to hell...cannot be dealt with rationally by young children without the proper education, training, and information.
Not religious brainwashing!
The information that is contained in these superstitions, and their literature, and the way that it is taught, is the height of irrationality and that is one reason we call them superstitions.
It is fear that makes the irrational seem plausible.
Information does not, in any way, have to be correct to be used as information.
The church calls it the fear of god, but in reality it is the fear of not knowing the answer to a really questionable bit of information that can never be proven or disproved.
The question of whether there is a god or not should never have been raised, but having done so...we should drop this puppy like hot potatoes!
Religious dogma is highly questionable to those who have the ability to use reason and rationality to understand its mission goals.
The question of god is irrelevant unless your desire is to control others.
I mean, why bring in the big guy in the first place...except to show that he is on your side?
It is all about controlling your mind by manipulating your fears.
This control, after all, is the constriction that the church put upon you as a child, and you will have modified your actions and thoughts, as an adult, to maintain that wall of religious fear, and truth, around you.
You beliefs have become your facts when this happens.
Children can only use the information that they have been taught. When the information that children need, to decide fact from superstition, has been removed or altered, or when that information tells them lies, or wasn't even a part of the lessons, then the children will not have the skills (or the intelligence) to really investigate religions tenets in order to find out the truth of their falseness..
It is the truth that we are after.
Like the truth about global warming coming from the scientific community!
It has been verified that global warming is happening!
Global warming is not a superstition, like religion, because you do not have to believe in it.
Facts are far different than superstitions and beliefs.
Superstitions are not truths.
Superstitions can either be believed in or not.
Superstitions can only be real in the sense that we do have people who are superstitious.
We do have superstitions.
Everyone wonders why it is that religious arguments are the main causes of war in our short human history.
Because there are no real proofs, religious arguments are all that you can possibly get in these interactions.
Arguments are disagreements.
Religious arguments can never be proven or disproved.
The argument will be won by the most powerful fighter.
This is the beginning of war.
Since its beginnings, religious wars have never stopped and they cannot ever end until there is only one (1) religion, and that is impossible!
Religious arguments cannot end.
It is the nature of the beast!
The Palestinians and the Israeli's argument over religion is a prime example of the idiocy that can be created by religious argument.
This disagreement has gone on for 'oh so long' because both countries are in the grip of a monstrous, super religious, war of attrition that has nothing to do with any verifiable facts other than what the warring parties have inflicted upon one another and themselves.
There are many more examples, and the history of the USA, and the histories and religious literatures of many other countries contains many examples that will enlighten you about religious war!
It is an incredibly interesting subject of study if you have the stomach for it.
Again:
What you think is only what you remember.
If you could not remember it you could not think about it.
Thinking and memory are interchangeable. (I am thinking about my mother or I am remembering my mother).
Can you think of some piece of information if you cannot remember it?
Can you remember some piece of information if you cannot think about it?
Nope.
The fear of god is inherently disabling to any real forms of intelligence.
It is a natural function of our human intelligence to make sure that that which is dangerous or threatening to us will be kept in our attention most of the time.
The fear of god, and going to hell, can make the human mind act the same way as it would in a dangerous situation.
Once we have successfully been programmed by the church and our parents/village, our fear of displeasing god can become super paramount, and psychologically, we have to use this as information, because we don't know the truth... so we begin to fear god, who has become like a powerful magician.
And this fear, because there is nothing one can do about god, creates irrational and mentally destabilising thought processes, and even more horrible actions in our real world.
As a spectacular example of this type of poisoned logic...the end timers are showing just how far off of the beaten paths of reality religious belief can take you.
Also, those who have been successfully programmed by the church, using the fear of god, will find it almost impossible to keep from programming their own children to accept and believe the word of god.
I mean, why do you think they use these types of tactics anyway?
Obviously, their minds have to use the information that they have worked so hard to believe, and therefore, they have been poisoned by their own logic also.
All of the information that humans use should be completely open for inspection and understanding.
If you make a mistake, which humans are prone to do, then the fear of god becomes very strong because of the strength of your inner conversation (your active memory), about 'going to hell' or however you articulate it to yourself.
Because we are not taught to think very efficiently, (actually we were not taught anything about thinking in school) and because we believe that the information we are being given has been properly vetted by the authorities for the truth, most individuals with this type of early training will not be able to also be aware of the full content of their conscious (not unconscious) thinking processes.
Ask anyone where there thoughts come from and most will either tell you that they do not know, or the religious will tell you that they were put there by god!
Is it possible for humans to observe the contents of their own consciousness using their own consciousness?
Only with thought can we examine our own consciousness: using our symbols that were created by the same consciousness that seeks to understand itself using those same symbols.
Is anything like this possible?
What information do I have in my personal round file?
Is it possible to review this information as it comes up, regardless of the situation I am in?
Instead of paying any attention to the information that we are using we just use the religious information we were hypnotised with in our youth because, again, we believe it is true.
The content of our consciousness can be filled with false beliefs.
But we do not inspect the information that we are using because we lack the ability.
We, instead, rely upon the content of our consciousness to get us out of the predicaments that life so often provides...which is fine up to a point.
But where or what is that point?
Who put the information into your consciousness that you are using right now to try to get away from the information that you are using?
This is the point where the content of our consciousness ceases to produce the truth and starts to rely upon the information provided by our personal superstition/religion.
But if we can believe what a priest says about god...isn't the next step backward believing what a politician says?
Politicians say they are representing us, are they?
Beliefs are not factual information until they are proven using a scientific method that allows the information to be tested for factual, and unproven, material, and repeated by others with the same outcome. (they are then no longer beliefs).
Look and see that almost all of our differences are rooted in religious differences.
Throw out as much of what you believe as you can find!
Act reasonably!
