American's cannot be trusted with their guns. We must have strict laws that do not allow these heinous killings by insane individuals who can purchase these types of weapons legally. How can a 20 year old person prove to authority's that they have a need for such a weapon of war? This is all about major war weapons manufacturer's making incredible profits by selling these weapons to regular citizens. Most of the victims were babies! Young girls and boys just beginning life. Only true insanity to take their lives like this, and therfore we can no longer trust anyone, not even our police, with these evil weapons.

To many criminals in elected office!

As long as folks keep thinking that their elected representatives can do what ever they want once they are elected, we will keep allowing them to commit these crimes against us while they are in office, and do nothing about it. Putting our foot down as American voter's is going to have no affect on these political thieves until their necks are under our feet when we stomp. American's need to put their foot down and stop this crap, put some of these too big to fail tyrants behind bars, or otherwise the crap will get so deep that it will be over our heads! We are getting awful close to that point now, when the rich and powerful can just break any laws they want and their buddies in wealth and power let them skate! Isn't that what Obama did when he pardoned all of the criminal banksters  Yes, and isn't it what Ford did for Nixon??? And look at the crimes Reagan got away with during the Iran Contra affair. None of them even lost their pensions for crimes we would probably be executed for! And it is still going on as we speak! They call it elite privilege.
 I would go so far as to bet that a powerful, wealthy, elected, politician could get away with what Bradley Manning is being tried for, or possibly never be tried at all and just get a Presidential pardon for a crime that might cost this man his life. Are these people that important that we just throw the law away and look askance at their crimes while we prosecute every one else, even whistle blower's trying to stop crime in government? Look at what happened in the Scooter Libby case? The guy was convicted by a jury of his peers and his buddies in high office said that it would just be to much of an inconvenience to his future, and his well being, as a political operative and hack. If this is not a definition of being put above the law then I do not know what is!!!

The wealthy are trying to destroy America for more wealth!

These are the people we vote into office. Isn't this proof that our system is broken; captured by the wealthy? What about the issues? If you look, you will see that the issues that face us as a people are not being attended to. Aren't the issues important also? Shouldn't we be deciding which issues we want settled, and how, and taken care of so to speak,...not wasting the only vote we have deciding which pathetic personalities of our tyrannical leaders we prefer this time around??. We vote for liars, and then we let them stand there,knowing full well that they are lying to us, through their teeth, and we accept their lies as part of our political system. Are we sick? I think we must be a sick society to let this kind of crap happen in our name and not bend a knee to get something done about what these criminals are doing to our nation. The wealthy have bought our police and turned them into their enforcers. Every American knows that they will face extremely brutal treatment if they try to protest this insanity. This is how dictators and tyrants hold power over their fellow citizens...at the point of a weapon!

The war against legal pot begins!

Marijuana smokers are not just going to give up the herb superb because some highfalutin government folks say so! They will be creating a situation which will cause folks to get all upset and react in various unknown and known ways. I think it has become evident that our law enforcers care about as much about justice, and democracy, and the American people's rights, as did Hitler's SS, or Mussolini's Brown-shirts . No, the police have not gone quite that far with us yet, but who among us thinks that our villainous leader's won't go there if given a good enough reason? Our politician's have proven to us, beyond a shadow of any doubt, that we, the people, are always going to be seen as the problem...and that means they feel that ultimately, they will need to put all of us under their strict controls. America resembles a police state now, and I cannot imagine what it will be like in a few more years if we continue electing criminals to high office! 

Drone Wars threaten us all in our homes

Sick minds would use weapons of terror like this, which is why we need to make sure that, at least, we have a bunch of sick minds together (congress) to make these kinds of decisions. This is a word war, and we are losing it because we have given the power to determine what those words we use mean to the judges and lawyers. Because of this power to control the meaning of language, the wealthy and powerful are already trying to exert their powers as if they were tyrants, and kill and destroy on their own decisions, just like a king, because they feel they are omnipotent now. They are protected by a powerful military and a powerful state police force. Who could touch them if they decided to destroy us in our homes? The people need to take a whole bunch of power back from these insane monsters before they imprison and destroy us all. There is way to much historical proof that these situations become unstoppable once they proceed to far!

Cloud computing a rural drought in the making.!

Cloud computing is just like using natural rainfall to irrigate your fields when they need water. If there are no clouds over your head, you are out of luck! Cloud computing does not work with dial-up, and it does not work well at all with satellite internet systems (DSL) either. They tell you it works great, but you cannot stream much without getting extreme buffering. They also have a download limit that you will reach very quickly, and after that you will pay through the nose for their lousy service. They are not interested in good service as much as they are interested in high profits with as little service as possible.
I live in a very rural country in southwest Washington. High speed internet, the type that is fast enough to stream movies, has been available 2 blocks away from me for the last 5 years or more, but when I asked the provider (Comcast) if they would push their cables into my neighborhood, they said that it would be way to expensive. They also stated that the main emphasis of their business is not providing maximum speeds, or connections, for internet use, as much as it is, again, for the making of profit. There are not enough residences in my neighborhood, they say, to make them consider ever going into my neighborhood.
The local phone company feels the same way. They also will not install fiber optic cable to your residence unless there are a lot of houses to connect up and charge.
I just read the wiki on cloud computing, and they didn't even mention the slow speeds and high costs for such terrible service.
 Efficient capitalism has always been a far right wing agenda, but does it need to be so profit oriented that its cost isn't affordable by all Americans?

The crime of text messaging

So many folks admitting openly that good old George Orwell, writer of that highly esteemed, prophetic indeed, novel, titled 1984, was right about everything he said but the date. I think he was probably right about 'Animal Farm' also. In both of these novels, how humans use language, (and in Animal Farm's case, how farm animals would use language), cause the most horrendous actions to be taken by humans against humans.. Does the use of language make people intelligent automatically? Is a monkey a carpenter just because it can pick up a hammer and swing it?
The folks who have taken over our world are freaked out that we, the people, might take it back from them. This is especially true for those super rich in the wealthy western countries. This has been the main motivating fear of tyrants all through history, and ours are no different just because we think we have this thing called freedom. Well folks, they have these things we call tanks, and guns, and missiles, and army's, and the police, and if you think they will not use them you are indeed deluding yourself to the max! Make the wrong move with these people, which they think we are doing, and you will become a Palestinian in one second flat.
Ask your local police person, while he/she is clubbing you with her/his night stick, what is so wonderful about their type of democracy? It will get you either beaten or thrown in jail. You can't ask them questions like that!
Maybe when they start rounding up lots of folks, people will start to take notice...but I doubt it. All despots depend upon the stupidity of the average human to pull of their heinous deeds. Now we know what all those new prisons they are building are for, and who will probably be in them.
